Fackeltanz
"Acts just like a champion! Pitch black
Florencio son with the look of a main sire.
Powerful, elastic sequence of movements and
skilled in jumping as well" – "He stands
above the crowd because of his calm manner
which promotes his super walk" – "Impulsion
and a wonderfully supple walk are his
trademarks". Not just quotes in the press,
the spectators at the Oldenburg Hengst-Tage
2007 were also highly impressed with
Fackeltanz who left the licensing as the 2nd
Reserve Champion.
Fackeltanz was discovered by my mother at
the Spring Elite Auction in 2005 in Vechta/GER.
Even as a foal at the side of his dam,
Fackeltanz' sovereign appearance and
outstanding gaits were obvious.
Marcus Busch/GER, an extremely sensitive
rider who is successful in dressage as well
as show jumping up to advanced (S) level,
has been entrusted with the training of this
exceedingly talented young stallion. And
just like Sternenfänger and Rosandro,
Fackeltanz will be available to a limited
number of breeders.
Pedigree: The sire Florencio I won the 2003
Westphalian Championships and took silver at
the Bundeschampionat in the class for
four-year old stallions. In 2004 under
Hans-Peter Minderhoud/NED, he won the Dutch
Pavo-Cup and then the WC in the class for
five-year old dressage horses in Verden with
a record score: overall 9.8, with a 10.0 for
his canter.
In Oldenburg Florencio I was awarded the
main premium for stallions with emphasis on
dressage.
In 2005 the pair successfully defended their
WC title in the class for seven-year olds.
Seventeen of his sons have been licensed.
His dam St.Pr.St. Fackese was the 1996
Champion Mare of the Oldenburg Elite
Broodmare Show in Rastede. The dam's sire
Feinbrand was a Reserve Champion Stallion
and main premium winner at his licensing,
placed in advanced (S) level dressage and
sired ten licensed sons as well as numerous
sport horses, including the Junior Dressage
Team European Champion Florestan/Kathleen
Keller/GER. The granddam, St.Pr.St. Falarina,
produced two medium (M) level dressage
horses, Porthos (by Pascha) and Feingold
(by Feinbrand).
With the Thoroughbred sires Thymian xx and
Chronist in the third and fourth generation,
the pedigree contains valuable performance
lines.
The traditional Oldenburg line of Fackila
also produced the licensed stallions Shepard
Hit (by Sandro Hit) and Dr. Bon Jovi (by Dr.
Doolittle) as well as countless other sport
horses successful all the way to the top.
