Champion Stallion in Vechta 2009.
Fairbank’s sire Flemmingh is the most
successfull breeding dressage stallion
in the neatherlands, according to “Zuchtwertschätzung“.
Flemmingh is also the father of the
international Dressage horses Krack C -
Anky van Grunsven, Lingh – Edward Gal,
and the winning states premium mare of
the neatherlands. The mother’s sire,
Inselfürst won his stallion test and
competed successfully in high-level
classes. In Fairbanks third and fourth
generation follow the top stallions
Agentinus and Bariton. His dam Identify
received great scores in her mare test
and was awarded the States Premium.The
sister of his grandmother Alegra was the
mother to the former Landgestüt Celle
stallion and Bundeschampionat
participant San Brasil and to the
licensed, high-level dressage competing

Fairbanks has in his genes also a great
amount of ox and xx, which makes about
43% of his pedigree. This high
percentage can be witnessed in his fine
conformation – in his long legs, his
beautiful face and his graceful neck.At

Fairbanks knew how to amaze people. He
convinced judges and crowd alike that he
was indeed the “King“ of the licensing!
The motherline of Fairbanks was
developed in the Artland. The starting
point was the mare Domspiel by Dorn.
Breeding her to Axtfeld brought fourth
the mare Schalmey, who competed
successfully in high-level classes under
Michael Gockel. Being bred to Ehrensold
the mare Enzi was born at the barn of
Mr. Ense. Domspiel is the grandmother to
the international competing jumper
Askari, by Wölhler - Monitor xx. Askari
was presented ridden by Achaz von
Buchwald andlater on placed in the top
20 at the Olympic games in Munich under
a Mexican rider.
The award of the “Champion stallion“ to
Fairbanks showed the overall impression
of this great horse to all. |
