The year 2008 was Imperio's year!  First Vice-champion of the five year old dressage horses at the World Championships in Verden, and only four weeks later celebrated German champion in the same age group at the Bundeschampionat in Warendorf.  A resounding victory for this stallion and rarely achieved – he was the crowd and the media favourite.

In 2009, following a busy stud season, he has again qualified for the Bundeschampionat to be held in September (a clear winner at his qualifier in Hannöver July 25th) as well as being selected to again represent Germany at the World Championships in Verden to be held in early August.

This stallion is a once in a life-time horse.  He has been carefully selected by his part-owners Hubertus and Katrin Poll.  They also own the sire and grandsire of Imperio.  He reigns supreme in rideability and paces.  He has excellent conformation and a beautiful nature.  His foals show all of these superior traits.
