Rosandro
Rosandro exceeded even our wildest
dreams, winning and placing in his first
tests for young riding and dressage
horses and especially at his 30-day test
which he took in Schlieckau where he
received a score of "very good" for his
trot
(9.25) and for rideability (9.0). He
also had high scores for his walk (8.88)
and character and temperament (8.75).
Jumping was awarded a score of 7.00 and
with a weighted total score of 8.21 he
ranked third in the group of 32
competitors at the test which was won by
the Bundeschampion Benetton Dream with a
total score of 8.53. With a final score
of 8.69 with emphasis on dressage, he
finished second.
Under the careful training of Kira
Wulferding/GER, Rosandro will be given
sufficient time to mature. Just like
Fackeltanz and Sternenfänger, Rosandro
is available for breeding, although only
for a limited number of breeders.
Pedigree: His sire Rosario was a premium
stallion in 2001, became State Champion
and Vice Bundeschampion of three-year
old stallions in 2002.
A year later, he again won the State
Championships and took third place at
the Bundeschampionat. As a five-year old
he placed third in the qualifier for the
final right behind Florencio I and Lord
Loxley.
In 2005 he added his third State
Championship title and third place in
the semi-final of the Bundeschampionat.
In 2006, under his trainer Anja
Engelbart, Rosario took the hurdle to
advanced level. As of fall 2007, this
black stallion continued his career in
Great Britain. Six of
Rosario's sons have been licensed and
his off-spring place in tests for young
riding horses according to their age.
The dam Sanzia produced another licensed
son by Royal Hit. The dam's sire Sandro
Hit, Dressage Horse World Champion and
Bundeschampion, set standards right from
the very beginning: more than 100
licensed sons, nine Bundeschampions, 84
State Premium daughters and countless
sport horses such as our Salieri OLD who
has won free-styles in World Cups. Rosandro's
granddam Eniza also produced an advanced
(S**) level show jumper named Winnie
Pooh (by Waldsee) and a medium (M) leve
dressage horse called Latino (by Landor
S).
The licensed stallions Movie Star W (by
Matcho AA) and Levino (by Lanciano) as
well as the Inter I horses Chocolat (by
Consul/T.) and Wildest Dream (by Warkant)
also come from the Allka dam line.
