Elite Frozen Foals is based on 45 acres of lush spring pasture in north-east Victoria.  The property is extensively subdivided.  All paddocks are double fenced with purpose-built fences for horses.

We have a stable and crush complex fully enclosed, where all our ultrasound examinations and inseminations are conducted.  The new attached laboratory area is used for semen evaluations, semen storage, and computerised recording of procedures.

Surrounding the insemination facility are 8 day-yards used to keep mares and foals under close supervision on the day of ovulation.  This minimises the traffic to and from the paddocks.

All horses in paddocks are hard fed daily and receive ad-lib access to quality clover and/or lucerne hay.  Mares are usually run in mobs of 3 or 4 and great care is taken to ensure their compatibility.  Special requests such as rugs or feed additives etc. are accommodated wherever possible.

The foaling paddock and yard are under video surveillance and can be observed from the house 24/7.  Video feeds are checked through a special television channel.
