With more than 70 licensed sons,
including the dressage horse World
Champions Florencio I and French
Kiss and the Bundeschampion Fürst
Khevenhüller, more than 180 State
Premium mares and numerous sport
horses, Florestan I has long enjoyed
the reputation of being a trademark
stallion.
The dam, St.Pr.St. Dorina, who won
the 1-A prize every year from 2003
to 2006 at the show in
Aurich-Tannenhausen, produced a full
brother of First Dance who was
licensed in Verden in 2007. The
dam's sire Donnerhall, a double
dressage World Champion under Karin
Rehbein, founded an entire stallion
dynasty. The granddam, St.Pr.St.
Andi, produced several auction
horses: St.Pr.A. Wonderfull (by
Wanderbursch II) and Wolkentänzerin
(by Wolkentanz), her full sister
St.Pr.A. Wina and St.Pr.St. Rubina
(by Rubinstein).
In the third generation you find the
significant Thoroughbred stallion
Aarking, a highly successful race
horse from the age of two to seven
with a German time form of 82.5
kilos. Four of his sons were
licensed: Amadeus S (medium (M)
level show jumping), Aargau,
Aargonit (eventing) and Ajaccio
(medium (M) level show jumping).
Andretti H became German Champion of
dressage riders in 2007 with
Hubertus Schmidt.
First Dance's dam line also produced
the medium (M) level dressage horses
Quintus (by Quick Star xx), Amadeus
(by Absatz) and Happy Day (by
Grenadier).
