The first foal born for the season
is a colt foal by the very famous,
His Highness (dec) out of one of our
imported mares, Hirtenqueen. A bay
colt with a large star, small strip
and snip with one hind sock. This
special colt will be for sale.
This year's Spring in Benalla is the
best we have had for a long while.
With all that grass you need rain
and we have had a far bit of it this
year. We survived the floods and
the place is looking super because
of it.

Rocaille (imp) has made
it to Australia from
Germany and will be
released from quarantine
on the 24th October -
she will then come to
our farm in Benalla to
be flushed before
returning to her
training before
competing in 2011.
Hirtenqueen (imp) is
currently in training
with Katrina Bolmat and
is stabled in Kilmore
with Deborah Court. She
has started to attend
clinics and will be
competing by mid
October. Hirtenqueen
(imp) has produced a
colt foal (our first
foal for the season) via
ET. He is by the famous
His Highness and will be
available for sale.
HB Fürstin Fröhlich (Fürst
Heinrich/L Graceful) has
started the breaking in
process with Katrina
Bolmat.
Frölich's sister, HB
Fidelia (Fidertanz/L
Graceful) and HB Regina
(Royal Hit/Fürstin
Grande) will soon be
heading off to NSW to
their new home with
Leigh and Mathew
Richardson. We wish
them all the best.
Hot Gossip, (Hotline/Donnerhall)
has been sold to a
family in Germany. All
three daughters, from
this family, will ride
and train her. |

Following
the invitation for the Hanoverian
Verband for our 3yo filly, SPA
Heartbreaker, to compete at the
Herwart von der Decken Show in
Verden on the 4th August, Jane
organized a last minute trip to
Germany to attend the show. 40 of
the best 3yo Hanoverian fillies in
Germany were invited to be shown at
the once every 4 years show. The 40
dressage bred fillies were divided
into 4 classes with the winners of
each class going into the final.
Heartbreaker finished 2nd in her
class.
We have owned this filly since she
was 3 week old and we are very proud
of her achievement. Heartbreaker
will now continue her training under
saddle with the hope that she will
compete in 2011 in Germany. We
flushed an embryo from her by the
super young dressage stallion,
Desperados. This foal is due in
June 2011.
