Stakkato a second time – and what a Stakkato son! Sovereign main premium winner of jumper stallions at the Oldenburg licensing in Vechta 2006. This exceptionally strong type, harmonious and strong moving son of the exceptional jumper-maker Stakkato is in a class of his own when he flies over the jumps. He shone at his 30-day test in Schlieckau with a series of top scores and was by far the best at the test with an overall score of 8.95. He received a sensational 9.88 for his jumping ability! He then proceeded to win a series of novice (A) and elementary (L) level tests for young jumpers and qualified in a medium (M) class test for the Bundeschampionat in Warendorf. His foals are of the right type and they love to be in motion. A price of 28,000 Euros was paid for a colt in Verden in 2006; a filly became the Reserve Champion in the For Pleasure Ring at the German Foal Championships in Lienen in 2007.

When it comes to movement quality and aura, Stalypso definitely profits from his dam's sire Calypso II, who went down in the annals of breeding history not just because he was the sire of Contender but also because he sired a tremendous number of top horses for breeding and sport. The influence of the Grenadier son Grand Royal and the unforgotten Absatz are also obvious. The dam, State Premium Caracalla, did a brilliant job at her broodmare performance test and also produced Streamer, another successful Stakkato son in sport. Further sport horses such as Spaceman and Chappelou as well as a licensed stallion named Fashion Black also come from this line.

Licensed for Hanover, Oldenburg, Springpferdezuchtverband Oldenburg-International, Westphalia and Rhineland as well as all southern German and new German State Verbands. Stalypso has been admitted to the Hanoverian Jumper Breeding Program.
