Description

Gold for Black

A licensed son of the former young horse world champion Dimaggio, who died far too early, can hardly be found these days. A Dimaggio son out of an outstanding dam who had previously produced two premium stallions in Vechta, who wins his stallion performance test (final score 8.73; trot 9.0; rideability 9.13), converts the first tournament start into a victory, and then another comes with an outstanding basic gait arrangement in the coveted black color of all things ?! That sounds like a fairy tale from 1001 nights, but that is exactly the calling card of our newcomer from the stud’s own breed: Dimaggio Black!

Father Dimaggio is one of the most popular representatives of the Donnerhall line, even posthumously. In 1999 he was fourth at the Bundeschampionat, in 2000 world champion of five-year-old dressage horses in Arnheim / NED and then victorious up to Intermédiaire I. In breeding, he sired many top horses for modern dressage. 61 of his offspring were able to place in the advanced class in Germany alone, especially Duke of Britain (Frederic Wandres). Dimaggio produced 25 sons licensed in Germany for breeding purposes.

The dam Feela is a three-time stallion mother. With Christ, she already brought the I c premium stallion of the Oldenburg licensing 2011, Cristall, with Diamond Hit 2015 the Vechta premium stallion Diamond First, and with Bailamos Biolley the St. Pr. St. Bailea (participant in the Elite Mare Show Rastede 2014). The dam’s sire, Fürst-Heinrich, was the main premium winner at the 2002 Oldenburg licensing and the celebrated world champion of five-year-old dressage horses in Verden in 2003. Within a few years he developed into an absolute star sire with over 30 licensed stallions and more than 50 state and association premium mares. Via the Holsteiner Famos and Benedictus, the pedigree leads to a thoroughbred line widespread in Holsteiner breeding.

Further Information: Approved for Westphalia, Oldenburg, Hanover, Rhineland, Mecklenburg, German sport horses, breeding association for German horses. Breeder: Gestüt Sprehe GmbH, Benstrup
