For Romance I OLD collected valuable placings in Grand Prix dressage under Therese Nilshagen/SWE. For this, the champion stallion, main premium winner, Bundeschampionat qualifier and Burg-Pokal finalist was named VTV Dressage Stallion of the Year.
The sire Fürst Romancier, who placed fourth in both the 2009 World Championships for Young Dressage Horses and the Bundeschampionat (5yo), produced 35 licensed sons.
In addition to For Romance I OLD, the dam El.St. Gesina produced nine other stallion sons, including the full brother and internationally placed For Romance II, the champion stallions Feinrich and Viva Romance PS, as well as the third-place finisher at the State Championships, Don Romance PS OLD (by Dante Weltino OLD). She also produced two Oldenburg champion mares: the For Romance full sister Fasine OLD (Bundeschampioness, P.S.I. auction price record holder and successful up to Inter II) and Fürstin Gesine. Both also became stallion mothers.
The granddam Gesine produced the Mecklenburg Reserve Champion Vivaldi’s Schufro, Amadeus de l’Aubois, who was also licensed, and the mare Sadira de Malleret, who became dam of Helen Langehanenberg’s Inter I winner Zaeta de Malleret. Mare line of the important Voltaire.
