HIS SUCCESSES
San to Alati is an extremely handsome Secret son, bred out of a dam by Belissimo x Florencio x Michelangelo/T. Behind this is what is probably the most important Trakehner tribe of the present, the tribe of the autumn blossom from the house of Schöning.
San to Alati received the “9” four times on the occasion of his first riding horse test in the summer of 2021, which he won after a while. In September he completed the 14-day test in Adelheidsdorf with a dressage final score of 8.5 and the second-best dressage result among 36 participants. There was only a “9” for rideability, as well as for trot, character, interior and willingness to perform.
San to Alati completed his sports test in 2022 with a final score of 9.12. In the same year he became Hanoverian Champion with a grade of 9.2 and won his test at the Bundeschampionat.
This unusual dark chestnut is a real eye-catcher with its noble appearance and almost captivatingly beautiful coloring. If he starts moving, it’s hard to resist this charisma! The extraordinary canter, which leaps far up, leaves nothing to be desired, the trot is designed energetically in a natural uphill direction and the sure footed step is already a dominant legacy of his striking grandfather Sezuan, the three-time world champion of young dressage horses.
In November 2020, San to Alati was very well deservedly awarded as a premium stallion at the showcase of the best. “A still developing, sporty stallion with great riding horse qualities, who we particularly liked when working on the lunge with his looseness, tact and contact. The canter jumped well through the body, always in balance and with a lot of space,” the licensing committee justified their decision.
San to Alati’s father Secret was the 2020 Bundeschampion of six-year-old dressage horses. Thanks to his excellent rideability and willingness to perform, the stallion enjoys the highest reputation in sport and breeding. The striking grandsire Sezuan by Blue Hors Zack was a three-time world champion of young dressage horses and is in the process of founding his own stallion line. Strikingness, rideability and an unwavering walk are the dominant characteristics of his offspring.
Dam’s sire Belissimo has become a popular figure in German dressage horse breeding and is considered the lord seal keeper of the great heritage of the Bolero in the male line. Rideability, interior and willingness to perform are the coveted attributes that also distinguish Belissimo. With the double world champion of young dressage horses Florencio, another proven dressage horse sire follows in the third generation, who carries the blood of the trademark stallion Florestan.
San to Alati’s mother is the Hanoverian premium mare Bella Florenzia by Belissimo, victorious and highly placed in tests for young riding horses and dressage horses. She completed her SLP with a straight “8”! Her full brother Bellis Blue Label is victorious at advanced level up to St.Georg Spezial.
The great-grandmother “Herzchen’s Last” by Michelangelo/T. is none other than the full sister of the former Trakehner Reserve Champion Hirtenruf and half sister of the elite stallion Herzruf (by Königspark xx), one of the most successful sires of Trakehner breeding, sire of Ulla Salzgebers Herzruf’s Erbe, among others. The numerous advanced level sport horses out of San to Alati’s great-grandmother “Herzchen’s Last” include the licensed Heinrich der Welfe by Hohenstein (FEI GP), Dai Colori Vistosi by Danone (FEI Inter-I), and his full sister, the champion of the German amateur championships in Münster Handorf 2020, Donna Dini under the saddle of the breeder’s daughter Zara-Adina von Zitzewitz, serial winner in class S and highly placed in Intermediare-I. Another half-sister of “Herzchen’s Last” is the famous Herzlani von Kostolany,
This important line of mares from the Herbstblume family, owned by Veronica Schöning, goes back to Herbstblüten von Komet and Herbstzeit von Bussard, who was born in Trakehnen in 1938 and was one of the few original Trakehner mares that contributed to the flourishing of Trakehner breeding in West Germany.
Countless sport horses and licensed stallions come from this mare family, including the already mentioned elite stallions Herzruf, Hirtentanz and Hirtenruf, the licensed stallions Herbstbach by Occacio in the first three generations alone; Qunaticor of quantum leap adog die or none; Hibiskus by Latimer out of Hirtennacht, full sister of the above Heinrich der Welfe; Hölderlin by Michelangelo (CCI3*), Quellenkönig by Quando Quando, Heinrich der Löwen by Enrico Caruso, Hollister by Freiherr von Stein (Ldb Neustadt Dosse), Quanta Costa by Quaterback, half brother to Hollister; and much more
