Description
At his licensing, Tesoro impressed us with an outstanding performance on the triangular track. His presentation on the lunge line, with its rhythmic trot utilising active hindquarters and engaging body movement, as well as his uphill canter, convinced us, as did his consistently rhythmic and ground-covering walk. A large-framed stallion with the bearing of a sire and an exceptionally honest and charming temperament.
Even now under saddle, he is blessed with plenty of energy and motivation and possesses the talent for top-level sport. Still very youthful in his focus, we are giving him the necessary time to develop.
On his sire’s side, Tesoro carries the blood of the proven Totilas in the second generation, who sired 49 licensed sons as well as numerous offspring successful at Grand Prix level. His dam’s sire, Vitalis, boasts countless licensed sons and is a reliable sire of sport horses. From the Abadonda dam line, his second dam, Roberta K, produced the two-time World Championship finalist for Young Dressage Horses, “Nexolia Feodoro,” when paired with Fürstenball. Tesoro’s dam is also a sister to the 2016 Herwart von der Decken Show winner, “Black Baccara” by Bon Bravour, and a sister to the dam of the 2023 Hanoverian stallion “Vulcan” by Vitalis x Fürst Romancier.
We eagerly await his first foal crop this spring. Tesoro will complete his VA test in Vechta at the end of January 2026 and make his tournament debut this year. We look forward to his further training.
