Description

We are very happy about this discovery at the Dutch licensing in ‘s-Hertogenbosch, where the beautiful and wonderfully long-legged black stallion attracted all eyes with his noble charisma and his three extremely high-quality paces. Total McLaren was the public’s favourite. This ultramodern dressage stallion also has his remarkable performance assured through his grand-dam Silberaster.

Total McLaren was also licensed in Denmark and passed his stallion performance test here, with expected highlights regarding his paces and rideability, with a total of 807.0 points.

His sire Totilas won double gold at the European Championships in Windsor/GBR in 2009 and triple gold at the World Equestrian Games in Lexington/USA in 2010. In 2010, he also won the World Cup final in ’s Hertogenbosch/NED. Several times he set new records in the Grand Prix. He produced almost 30 licensed stallions, such as Total Hope OLD, Champion of his licensing, Swedish Champion, finalist at the World Championships for young dressage horses, Burg Cup winner and placed in Grand Prix at the age of eight, Glock’s Toto Jr. N.O.P./Edward Gal/NED, Dutch Champion, Governor-STR/Adelinde Cornelissen/NED, double silver medallist at the World Championships, and Topas/Nicole Casper, Baden-Württemberg Champion and successful in Grand Prix.

His dam, St.Pr.St. Deja vu, herself a serial winner in tests for young dressage horses, also produced Damon de Luxe OLD (by Damon Hill), who won advanced (S*) level competitions.

His dam’s sire De Niro, successful at Grand Prix level at the age of eight and winner of the Dressage Derby in Hamburg with riding master Dolf-Dietram Keller, led the WBFSH ranking list of the best dressage sires worldwide for six years and is currently in tenth place. There are no championships in which his offspring, including Desperados FRH/Kristina Bröring-Sprehe, Dablino/Anabel Balkenhol, D’Agostino FRH/Fabienne Müller-Lütkemeier, Delgado/Beatriz Ferrer-Salat/ESP, Voice/Edward Gal/NED, Deep Impact/Severo Jurado Lopez/ESP and Darco of De Niro ZS CH/Charlotte Lenherr/SUI, do not fight for medals. Over 250 advanced (S) level horses are registered in Germany alone and have won over 3.2 million Euros in prize money for their father. With over 100 licensed sons, the 2008 Hanoverian Stallion of the Year has a lasting influence on breeding.

His grand-dam, St.Pr./El.St. Silberaster OLD, was Oldenburg Champion Mare and two-time German and Regional Riding Horse Champion. In 2008, she also won the bronze medal at the World Championships for young horses (5yo) with Helen Langehanenberg/GER. She also produced the Grand Prix winner Fürst Oldenburg (by Fidertanz)/Holga Finken and the advanced (S) level dressage horse Q Silberaster’s Quaterback (v. Quaterback)/Florine Kienbaum/GER. Silberaster OLD is the full sister of Serpico, who is internationally successful up to Inter I and half-sister of the licensed stallion Reiter-Traum (by Rubinstein).

Sandro Hit, World Champion and German Champion, who follows in the third generation of the pedigree, very quickly made a name for himself as a foundation stallion in dressage horse breeding. He is currently third of the WBFSH ranking of the world’s best dressage sires.

The licensed stallions High Society, Welthall, Wait and See, Wittenberg, Gallipoli, Avanti, Furinos Son, Wontorra, Sandro’s Son and Walzer as well as numerous internationally successful sport horses, such as Wells Fargo, who was successful in Grand Prix, descend from the Hanoverian line of Festungszeit.

Total McLaren is approved in DWB, Hanover, Holstein Global, KWPN, Mecklenbourg, Oldenbourg, Rhineland, Southern German Stud Books, Westphalia
