Description
Westphalian Champion Stallion and 1.2-million-euro stallion market sensation
“A shining star – endowed with so much grace and quality. A flawless lateral appearance. A stallion who impressed us with his three paces. One of the few that already gives an idea of how things will be when it comes to higher levels later on. He becomes even more diligent in the rein back”, was how Breeding Director Thomas Münch summed up the enthusiasm of the Westphalian licensing commission. At the inspection on hard ground, V-Power already made his first winning impression and also performed in a league of his own on the lunge and loose. Westphalia celebrated this new, shining star in the dressage firmament with standing ovations and we were able to secure him for our breeders for the stallion market record price of 1.2 million euros.
His sire Viva Gold, grandson of the Olympic, European and multiple World Cup Champion Weihegold OLD with Isabell Werth and who himself already appeared as stallion performance test winner, Oldenburg Regional Reserve Champion and who qualified twice for the German Championships, sent no less than five sons from his first crop to Münster-Handorf, all five of whom were also licensed. Three of them reached the premium ring, led by our Champion Stallion V-Power.
His dam Verb.Pr.St. Finess also produced the licensed stallion Belmore (by Belissimo M), who was successful in the international Young Riders Tour with Alexa Westendarp. Finess’s daughter Rocket Girl (by Rock Forever I) produced the licensed stallion Vitz Gerald PS (by Valverde). His grand-dam St.Pr.St. Shakira is the half sister of the 1.35m show jumping horse Dynastie (by Diarado).
The licensed stallions Abegglen FH NRW (by Ampère; Grand Prix)/Victoria Max-Theurer/AUT, Montreal I (by Mohn xx), Parademeister I and II (both by Parademarsch I) as well as the sport horses Fling (by Florestan I; Grand Prix), Flamenco (by Florestan I; Grand Prix), Leonardo wie Caprio (by Laurentianer; Inter I), Retina (by Regazzoni; 1.30m show jumping) and Ronjador (by Rock Forever I; Inter I) also descend from this line.
